Impressively embedded horizontal school building in the park

The 1st prize went to this charming design for a primary school. The horizontally stepped character of this monument is so pleasing to the eye of the beholder that it is easy to forget that you are looking at a school building. The green grid of the lower floors blends cleverly with the adjacent open park to create a harmoniously working whole, characterized by a sympathetic but sophisticated design with infinite spaces and areas for a desirable variety of uses.
